sad… the clouds are

lonely… the birds are

depressed… the beer is

alone… the chair is

unmoved… the ant is

unamused… the clowns are

bored… the people are

horny… the teenager is

unemotional… the painting is

listless… the dog is

drunk… the party is

sober… the shirts are

dry… the pants are

cold… the girl is

hot… the boy is

wet… the lines are

shit… the situation is

shit… the situations are

shit… my life is…

Notes: I have this one in several notebooks, it pops up over and over again, and I am amazed that it always affects me emotionally. I can’t say it makes me sad, angry, or frustrated, but it always gets me… a little down.

    1. It’s a poem I wrote many years ago.
I decided to revisit much of my older works following a coaching series that focused on appreciating achievements. It led to posting my poems and my 500 Works of Art series.
There are a few others I’m still contemplating, such as old journals, notebooks, and short stories.
      Time will tell.
I’m so grateful you enjoyed this one.
