There’s a snippet of a Robert Frost poem spoken in the movie, Dead Poets Society that rushed into my mind and I was sure I’d misquote it. so I found it for you.

This quote and the repeated teachings of Abraham-Hicks are about making a choice to be happy. Happiness is the key to everything. Be happy in all actions and choices. Always choose happiness. Why is choosing happiness so important to us? It tells the universe what you want more of. It send feelings and emotionally charged energy into the flow and attracts more of the same back to you.

I’ve heard and read at least a hundred ways that Abraham tells me to choose being happy. At first I didn’t fully understand when Abraham said to be joyful at all cost and always. I had no context or tools to fend off the negative self-critic that dragged me into the pity pot. Over and over, Abraham explained to me that the choice was mine and that my choice for happiness has true power. That choosing happiness brings on more happiness. In the simplest demonstration I ask you to think of something happy and then listen to yourself about how you feel. I bet it’t happy, right?

“You’ve just got to get happy.” Look for everything that makes you happy and focus on the feeling. You will always feel happy. No matter how challenging your days may be, look for, think about the good stuff and you will feel happy.

“…that’s all it takes.”

Thank you again, Abraham.
