Sunrise almost always inspires my creativity. The framing of this one was I’m portent, as I was taking random shots from across the street and found myself frustrated by the signs of human presence: houses, electrical wires, etc… While cropping to get the framing right, I saw more than my original attraction tin to the way the bright sun hazed the tree silhouettes as it rose and intensified, I saw a watercolour landscape. it took a while to fine tune the focus and definition settings, as well as the colour saturation to get the image I saw in my mind. The tray-scales tones of the trees fascinate me and cause a tension that is simultaneously frightening and attractive.
