Wow, there’s so much being said here! First the reward to your efforts will be strength and mastery. Both are good-feeling things to achieve. The second point is cautioning you about letting yourself get upset by the actions of others. You can start making this a habit by allowing yourself to see and feel the small annoyances that others bring to you then letting your logic go to answering the BIG question of “How does his/her crap really improve or change my life?” The goal is manifold in changing your mindset toward positivity and growth. Ok, I’m adding a judgement in calling it crap; you don’t have to. In fact, maybe remove all emotion from it and just call it stuff. 

At this point you should naturally start seeing that you won’t let the emotions (ie: reactions, opinions, perspectives) of others control your decisions. You will start taking control of your decisions and that will return the control of your life to you. 

The final point on emotions wraps back to my misuse of “crap”. Remove all emotion from your description of all the experiences that bother you and you will quickly feel very different. You will feel calm about these previously annoying situations. That calm will feel like strength too. Changing your reaction words will lead to a change in your mindset. You will Not sweat the small stuff, and it really is all small stuff…
