On a long hike near form waterfalls in Rawdon, Qc… We walked by various ponds, bogs, and streams. My amazing daughter spotted this vista and grabbed me to come and shoot it… this is entirely her framing. She didn’t express what she was seeing and even after showing her what she caught, she claimed it wasn’t a conscious vision. What she did in this framing was to shoot three distinct pictures in the same frame. Let your eyes start from the bottom and slowly roam vertically up the image.

The bottom stops where the reflection of the blue sky is replaced by a reflection of trees. The middle section can be all reflections in the water, and/or some of the reflections up to where the sky peeks over the trees. The top section can be everything above the water. I’ve taken horizontal vistas before, but this might be the first vertical one for me. I love it!
