In the Jazz Cafe,
smoke swirls and lingers,
dancing with the notes
of the blues guitarist’s fingers.
Whiskey-soaked air
fills my senses,
a heady mix
of music and fragrances.
I watch him play
with intense fascination,
lost in the rhythm
of his passionate creation.
My mind begins to wander
as I imagine painting
this scene, this moment
in all its smoky glory.
I see the blues guitarist
in shades of midnight blue,
his guitar of weathered wood
as he plays the notes so true.
The canvas comes alive
with each stroke of my brush,
capturing the essence
of this smoky whiskey rush.
As the night wears on,
I paint and I listen,
feeling the music
deep within my vision.
In this liminal state,
I am one with the scene,
immersed in the music
and all that it means.
The Jazz Cafe fades away,
and I am left with my creation,
a masterpiece of blues and whiskey
that embodies pure elation.
