The Review:

My first DSLR camera was the EOS Rebel T3. It takes nice pictures but was hard to master the shutter speeds and the time delay from flash to shot. I found it wasn’t the best for portraits or close ups on the artwork, as the focus was hard to master. This isn’t a beginners camera, in my opinion.

The T6 is vastly superior to the old model. Many of the user-originated issues are worked out and this one is more plug & play. It also has more pixels.

The added value with the T series can also be seen as a drawback for some, as it isn’t meant to be a fully automatic camera. You can get loads of added equipment to use this as a pro camera, or opt for one of Canon’s simpler digitals.

Canon has a well-deserved reputation of having top rated cameras. Most require play time to master it, and that time will be lessened by defining a clear idea of what you want to do with it, then jumping on YouTube for the multitude of How To videos.
