Building An Idea – My Hair’s Out Of Control

The jury (or what I call the gaggle of voices in my head) is still out about this one. I like it and I don’t. I think the arm is what throws me off. I also think I’ve become a little bored of these sorts of faces. This may cause me to completely change the current batch of paintings I’m doing for my “People of the Land” series. I have to say, I really like the different eye shapes that I used on this one. I’m not sure what came over me for that.
