Building an Idea – Beware the all seeing god of industry

This one started with the illustration of a lion’s head and a load of eye glasses. I imagined the inverted mouth of the lion covered with glasses, as some strange leviathan beast… then I found a bunch of Egyptian images that would become it’s beard… the inverted faces seem to be perfect for a beard, don’t you think?

I had illustrations of strange machines and when I added them to the overall composition, I knew this was a god of industry…
