Along the banks of the river I wander,

Seeking stones to build my precarious sculptures,

Not seeking for perfection that lasts forever,

But rather for the thrill of balancing incompatible rocks.

The river meditates calmly beside me,

Its gentle current carrying away my worries,

As I instinctively select each stone,

Feeling their weight and shape in my hands.

The soothing sun warms my being,

As I crouch and balance the rocks,

Slowly building my spontaneous masterpiece,

A monument to the art of impermanence.

I revel in the challenge of each new stone,

Feeling the thrill of achievement as I stack them,

Creating a visual paradox of balance and chaos,

A fleeting moment of beauty in an ever-changing world.

For here, by the river’s edge,

In the quiet solitude of nature,

I find a freedom that cannot be found in structure,

A joy in the unpredictable, the uncertain,

And a sense of accomplishment in the seemingly impossible.
