In my dreams, I am trapped
In a nightmare of decay
Fungi slowly grow within me
A creeping, crawling paralysis
It starts in my brain, a fuzzy haze
As the spores take hold and multiply
I feel them spreading, seeping down
Into my joints, where they ache
I can feel them multiplying
Their growth is slow but steady
I am helpless to their progress
As they consume me, I am unhinged
Powerless to succumb to their growth
As they consume my very being
I am incapable of stopping them
And their slow, relentless breeding
The fungus spreads through my belly
And I feel my body failing
I am becoming a host to decay
And my mind is weakly trailing
In my dreams, I am consumed
By the creeping, crawling decay
The fungus has taken hold
And I am too slowly fading away
