Expo 67, the world came to play
Montreal ablaze, a city on display
The crowds, the lights, the colours so bright
A symphony of nations, a grand delight
Pavilions and sculptures, a feast for the eyes
Visions of progress, soaring to the skies
A utopian dream, a glimpse of what could be
The future was now, for all to see
From the United States to the Soviet sphere
A global exchange, a message clear
Peace and understanding, a hope for all
In this grand exhibition, standing tall
But now the fair has come and gone
The buildings stand, but the magic is gone
Yet memories linger, a moment in time
Of Expo 67, a world so sublime
So let us remember, this moment of glory
When the world came together, a shared story
And though the fair is but a memory
The dream lives on, for all to see.
