Perhaps this guy just received a great compliment and answers in a very self-satisfied fashion by saying “What Can I Say?”

I blended this one in steps and played a little more with layering the blacks and whites to build up tones. I’m continuously fascinated with how these charcoals end up looking like watercolours. The funny part is that I don’t feel comfortable with watercolour painting, even though I find myself always wanting to play with them.

I really loved the face angle of the face in the original photo and the pride of the jawline. I feel I captured it well here. The whole gesture of the figure lead me to the title.
