Isolation Fantasy Blues

I started this series on April 1st, 2020 not knowing what the world would look like by the time they got published.

Isolation is having all sorts of effects on my psyche. From mild despair to creative euphoria. I’ve begun dreaming about isolation in idyllic locations… well, idyllic in my fantasy at any rate.

I started seeing simple houses lost somewhere in the Scottish highlands. The land provides all that is needed. The mountains protect, isolate, and envelop me in a reflective life. No-one is around. Peace is all around, except in my mind. The sky shifts colour with my moods.

This isn’t meant to be a wishing for greener grass expression of my fantasy, but rather how my logic is coming to accept the reality of Covid-19 and how it will impact me as I choose to perceive the impact.
