This side of the island had. many more rocks submerged in the water then on land. I knew I’d only see their colours when they dried. Fortunately, the sun was hot and dried them quickly. I thought they might have more red in them. The other challenge was seeing what I was shooting in the bright sunshine. It’s hard to see here, but everything is stacked on the side of a large, round boulder; the bottom stone is quite thin and the hardest thing to accomplish was the wide (iron coloured) stone on its upper edge… after that, it all came together.
