Outliers: The Story of Success
by Malcolm Gladwell

I was given no advice on what to expect from the book and that it would influence and inspire me in my own way. I am deeply grateful for this.
Gladwell doesn’t give you the secret pill to success. He doesn’t blather on about the luck or persistence of successful people either. In fact, there is little hope for you to follow any recipe to success in this book.
What he does give us is the pure fact that life is filled with opportunities that feel like fate and if we don’t take them and run harder and faster than anyone else with them, we will not be successful.
What most impressed me is how skillfully, subtlety, and how completely without judgment he is able to reveal and remove my excuses.
I’m left with a heightened alertness and drive for opportunities.

Thank you, Mr. Gladwell.

Please run out and get this book ASAP!

  1. Excellent book! What it lacked in technicality it certainly made up for in entertainment–an important but easy read. I’ve yet to pick up another Gladwell book but look forward to doing so. Great review!
