The Forest Floor

Mother Nature paints the best abstracts, in my view. I’ve been scanning this image, up and down, over and over again… I’m amazed by the shapes of the leaves, how they curl and crumble. I just love all the colours and textures I can see in these subtle tones… They fuel my ceramics as well. I love the natural finishes. These configurations are completely unique and I strive to emulate them when making my own work. Nature is a great inspiration to me.
