Our distinguished gentleman sees himself as the epitome of class, composure, and good grooming. The only feature that consistently troubles him is the uncontrollable growth of his white nose hairs. When someone has the courage to do so, they mention to him and are rewarded with his genuine consternation. He begrudgingly thanks them for pointing them out and launches into a flustered complaint that they always grow out of nowhere. This frustration has become so persistent that his whole face has changed to accommodate it. He’s lost the ability to look anywhere but straight ahead and with an obvious embarrassment. His chin has receded into his neck and his nose has protruded voluminously in reaction to the repeated withdrawing from the observations of others. He has become the expression surrounding those embarrassing nose hairs.
