The water was so still that it became a mirror. We only noticed the water when we were a few feet away. The reflections of the forest made it look like the trees were all over the area. It was a strange moment of realizing we were surrounded by the abundance of life in this forest and at that very moment we all made an observation out loud… we exclaimed that we felt high with energy. Beauty and warmth surrounded us and went through us… we became part of the forest. We had this feeling again and again as we walked through different areas on the blue trail.
