A day in the woods of Rawdon, Quebec… everywhere you looked there was something strange and wonderful to see. In a small area, near the river, we found these odd little caterpillars. I haven’t the foggiest idea what the butterfly must look like and I’m not sure I care; this was amazing enough.
It was about an inch long and barely moved… I zoomed in and got thee blurry edges… this made the composition look like more a painting than a photograph… I liked that.

Not sure if it will come into my works anytime soon, but it is in my unconscious files now and that means it will surface somewhere.
