Dragon Orange

I admittedly played with the colours on this one. The vibrancy made me think of dragons, thus the title. I am fascinated ny there stamen and pistils. They jumped out of the photo and demand attention. Regardless, this amazing orange shines through the whole composition. I have several different species of lilies and I’m assuming they are dragons, but I have no assurance for your on that. I only know that I love the colour variations in them and they remind me of snap-dragons. I played with the angles on this one. it pulled a certain perspective forward and now feels like an orange version of a blue meanie looking at me through a fish-eye lens. I can’t discount the amazing contrast delivered by the greens and whites in. the background. They pull the flower into hyper-focus.

Can you imagine a massive print of this on your wall? I can.
