A Creative Block Project – Day 3

I’m choosing to call this one “World War Two”. It reminds me of scenes from the old war movies. I couldn’t say which one, much less what era of filmmaking I think it comes. from, but it’s clearly from war movies for me. Maybe it’s the end scenes of Apocalypse Now.

I started with putting down large amounts of ink in the primary colours and then washing them together with a wet brush. I wanted to let it dry before adding any black marker to it. As I turned it around and walked around it to get a scene of it, it felt complete. Even after walking away for a bit, it still felt complete and looked like the war scenes I mentioned above.
