See T’Hed Forty-Eight for similar oddities…

The medium didn’t do justice to the design… well, it kinda does… Here pastels might have given a more oil painting feel and I wondered if I could have used acrylics and a pallet knife to get the texture and increase the vibrancy… I could blame the poor quality crayons, but I must admit that I also had little motivation to press the cheap crayons harder. I could also have used a black oil pastel to redo the outlines and add some drama to the composition.

I’ll have to pursue this devil a little more in future works. For now, I’m distracted by a new idea with mixed-media… stay tuned…
