Ghost Cat – Sheet-music Scribbles 2023

Sometimes being silly for the sake of joy is all it’s about. I imagine this little guy floating about saying “Me-ooooooo” to anything and anyone he encounters and I get a big smile on my face.

Aesthetically, my goal was to play with the complimentary colour pairs, but with a slight twist; instead of orange, I chose yellow against purple to increase the ghostly mood; instead of red, I used pink against green to increase the cute and un-scaryness of the cat. The visible music notes seem to add to the silliness… I hear the cat humming happily as it looks for the next person to try and scare.
