Bird, I Suppose – Sheet-music Scribbles 2023

This is kind of how I feel at the end of a good day. of teaching… fulfilled by the joy of working with my students and drained from being so very, very “ON” all day. I look back at my day feeling more full of colour and satisfaction, but having little mental bandwidth left to ado anything. What could all this possibly have to do with this odd bird? Well, it’s just a feeling interpretation. I took chances with the colours. Specifically, I was uncertain how the pink would pop off the orange, but it worked with the blue on the side. The bright green was a nice surprise, even though I often blend the this green with a light pink for skin tones, so I felt it could work. The. shape of the bird. is… it just is a bird.
