Sunset From The Top of the Ferris Wheel

The blessing of being a tourist in your own town is that you have the opportunity to fall in love with your city all over again,

Family was visiting from out of town and their kids asked to go on the ferris wheel at the Old Port of Montreal. As it happened, it was close to sunset and we were treated to seeing the sky change with each new turn of the wheel. The change was as dramatic as it was spectacular!

These two images blew my mind with the colours we saw in the sky. Just before this it was broad daylight and right after it was pitch black, except for the multicoloured buildings of the Montreal skyline which light up at night.
