I looked up at the roof and what did I see? Some big bird staring down on me and the crowd of tourists I was with on this visit to Les Forges de Montreal. I imagined it was shaking its head disapprovingly. I really have no idea what it was thinking, or even if this sort of bird thinks at all, but it felt like it was mumbling “These foolish humans. Always going about places…” Anyway, let’s not go into the messy room of my mind on this one…
I could see the bird clearly with my naked eye, but no as much when I looked at the photo afterwards. It almost disappeared in the contrasting clouds floating behind it. So, I played with many sky colours and this yellow one emphasized the imagined disdain I was getting from the bird.
