I’m not sure what kind of flowers these are. I found them at The Morgan Arboretum on a warm Summer’s day and they reflected the warm comfort of that day. I love the complexity of the structures and sub-structures within this flower… There’s a fantasy architecture of some alien world in these, where the petals become solar receptors for cloud cities of skyscraper clusters. This is also one of my favourite yellows, again I’m not sure I’m labelling it correctly, but to me it’s amber.

The flowers are beautiful. Yellow is one of my favorite colors. My granddaughter says it is the color of joy. I think she is right!
