Ok, so maybe this title is a little obvious, but what can you do when you find a perfect giant boulder, but build upon it? The boulder has to have a good five to six foot diameter… the small stones on top are balancing on the point of the boulder. I didn’t think I could make it work. I can see the boulder across the river from my balcony window and this sculpture, along with several others seems to still be standing, despite the tremendous winds we have off the river. I’m really loving this structure… it feels like the whole thing is just waiting for the tension to build before sliding down the slope of the boulder.
