Lo, in the east, the bright sun does its daily flex,
And everyone’s eyes turn up like, “Damn, here it comes.”
Climbing the sky like some overachieving bastard,
It makes the young world lean in and pay attention.

But when it’s at its peak, all hot and famous,
It’s got that whole “I’m untouchable” vibe going on;
So, scoured by the heavens’ glare, it keeps on rolling,
Burning its way through the day like it owns the place.

And then, when age starts creeping in like unpaid bills,
You slow down, and the crowd starts looking elsewhere;
Your shine, once loud, gets treated like background noise,
And people drift off to whatever shiny thing is next.

So give your light some shape before the damn dusk comes—
Because even the sun gets ignored when it starts to sink.
