Seriously… quit pretending you give a damn about anyone,
When you can’t even stop screwing yourself over.
Everybody knows you’ve got people who’d show up for you,
But you’ve built walls so damn high nobody gets in.
You’re your own worst enemy—hell, you’re running the demolition crew,
Smashing up a house most people would kill to live in.
Why trash the good stuff you’ve already got?
Why torch the place instead of fixing the damn roof?
If you’d just change course, you’d surprise yourself.
I wish you would—for my sake as much as yours.
Don’t let all you’ve been fade out with the credits;
Leave something behind that keeps your story breathing.
Pass on your fire, your heart, your weird beautiful mess,
So the best part of you keeps showing up after you’re gone.
