All the work is sorted & catalogued, photographed & added to the reflection slides for a class presentation…NOW I CAN GET DOWN TO THE FUN PART: MAKING THE ARTWORK!
I had a blurry vision of using all my samples together in a woven work.
The first step is to make the loom, you see here.
The white stuff you see on the bottom is ModPodge. I’m using it to secure the strings and ropes in place. I don’t know what the vertical threads are called in weaving and I’m not even sure I’ll be doing this correctly, but the image feels clearing my head.
I guess you’ll see the results as soon as I can finish them.
Stay tuned…
Love the loom!

Thank you, Jeanne. I’ve gotten some kind feedback on it. My professor doesn’t appreciate it, but I can’t please everyone, right?

Well… what was the objection? Curious as to why… the execution? The style? Or?

Let’s go with “Or?”. I went beyond the project directives… ah, the challenges of being a mature student with a mind full of my own ideas.
