I love seeing reports of corporations who take responsibility for the planet!!!
It’s a good step in the right direction.
Now, we need to put more pressure on them for other initiatives, like reductions in packaging materials and production waste.
I know it’s my usual rant, but some businesses might never be able to join this fight, just by the nature of what they do. Eg. MacDonalds, Burger King, Subway, etc… they need the land for meat production. Any fish products too, too much by-catch wasted!
Only we, the consumers can make them change by not buying their products.
So, the good news is we can make big impacts, just like the big corporations and it starts with our consumer choices and continues with getting informed more about what corporations do to get us what we buy.
