A little good news — A Rôle model we can all follow every day

If you’re a little like me, you’ve been marvelling at all the face masks on the ground this past year. I work at an elementary school and I have come to realize they aren’t always purposely tossed on the ground; some are accidentally dropped, fall out of pockets, are picked out of garbages bins by birds, or blown out of the bins, etc…

It made me realize that a lot of garbage we see floating around might come from similar incidents.

As the article states, this hero didn’t intend to shame anyone, she just felt compelled to do something she could do on her own.

Can you imagine what the impact would be if we all chose to take a small garbage bag with us, once a week, on one of our daily walks and picked up whatever we can?

Now that’s a trend I’d like to see growing on social media!
