See more of Montreal Walls…
I feel I arrived on this at the perfect time of day. The afternoon sun was high above us and found some windows on the opposing wall to reflect its fiery light onto this embellished tag. With the wild trees to create some dappled shadows, the yellow and red becomes flames on the wall. The colours without the sunlight became dull and muted, then exploded into vibrancy when the cloud passed and the sun again touched it, allowing for even more tension between the silver-black tag and the yellow-orange liquid painted around it. I almost didn’t take this shot, because there were too many cars parked in front of the mural. it forced me to angle myself between them and guided my eye to this wonderful capturing of light.
More to come…
