In the bounty of fall,
a massive bin of multicoloured gourds
spills out like a cornucopia
bursting with the plentiful spirit
of Mother Nature herself.
Each gourd a unique masterpiece
crafted by the hand of the earth
in hues of oranges, yellows, and greens
with warts, bumps, and curves
that tell tales of the seasons gone by.
The gourds dance and sway
in the crisp autumn breeze
as if whispering secrets
of the harvest moon and falling leaves.
And I stand in awe
of the abundance and beauty
that Mother Nature provides
a feast for the senses
and a reminder
of the magic of the world.
