So yeah, I’m not like those poets chasing some damn fantasy muse,
Who paint their crush like a flawless goddess in some glossy magazine.
They throw around fancy words like they’ve got something to prove,
Making ordinary folks sound like some impossible dream.
I’m not here to hype you up with a bunch of fake-ass praise,
Or sell some cheesy fairytale that falls apart when the lights go down.
I see your messy mornings, your weird habits, your complicated days,
And honestly? That’s the stuff that makes you stick around.
Let them keep writing their over-the-top, sugar-coated crap,
Let them worship perfect faces and whatever’s trending online.
I’d rather tell the truth than fall into that ridiculous trap,
Because real love doesn’t need a damn marketing sign.
So I’m keeping it real, no bullshit, no pretend show,
I love what I know — not some made-up version for the world to know.
