Part 9 – Cult Films & Cityscapes

I believe this whole series came out of some dreams until I realized what was popping up on my Pinterest feed had something to do with it. I had started following a page that showed older movie posters and pulp-fiction cover art. A great many of them showed original Godzilla posters. There was always a strong melodramatic feeling of impending doom in these hand-painted posters, that seemed to be hiding behind some glossy surface that blurred the image. So, I went for that effect and found a similar mood in these paintings.

I have to also tip my hat to my creative daughter for her wonderful suggestions.

If you are excited to see it all right away, please take a look at Arts M.Perron. You can also get prints and merchandise at the same site.
