Sometimes, regardless of angles, shading, and perspectives, the figure remains two-dimensional. The funny thing is, I believer this guy could still be walking around as a two-dimensional being. Most of the time, we can’t see him, unless he’s right in front of us. Here, I caught him as he’s turning. Almost as if he’s somehow felt I noticed him.

I started with charcoal pencils here and finished, after blending, with a light highlighting with conte.
