I selected my three colours and started my personal worrying about how to use them… This is what I decided (to start with)…
Note: These are all pébéo brand Studio Acrylic, high viscosity, opaque paints:
I’ll use Light Ultramarine Blue for my blacks, Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue for my whites, and Cadmium Red Hue for my greys.
The first strokes were mainly to fill in the big tonal spaces I see on the black & white photocopy I printed out. I felt the need to add a little outlining for my own sanity.
I’m really enjoying the matte finish of these paints… it helps me see volumes better and there’s no glare from my studio lighting.
Stay tuned for more to come…
