How do mussel colonies affect coral reefs?
What other wildlife will be impacted by the explosion of mussels?
How certain is the science that no toxins are absorbed into the mussels’ flesh that might impact the food chain that consumes them!
What other sea life will also explode with this new food source!
I always remember the caution stories in high school biology class about introducing non-indigenous species into new environments… is that being considered too?
If so, then this could be a great solution for cleaning up the ocean.
We still need to change our individual behaviours and stop buying single use plastics!
