Yesterday’s post set up the serenity journey I’m on for my nephew, Mat… I found my tension colours to indicate some if the struggles and triumphs, but as in all journeys… there are things that must change for it to continue… we sometimes need to redirect…
In this case, I have two crossroads to choose. The first being whether or not the blue is a good choice for this composition. I feel it isn’t so I must have a metal conversation with my inner-selves. The second relates to the flatness and glossyness of the background. I’m not sure I like them, so I need to take that as a sign to make a change… So far, most of the shapes and contrast-points appeal to me… but there is something more to be done.
Also, I have a vision for the horizon line that I’ve been waiting to finish all the other surfaces first to do. I feel a great tension point coming in a yellow decision… surely you’ll see it tomorrow. For now I must stare and ruminate on this…
Stay tuned…
