A Creative Block Project – Day 6

Just before going to bed last night I had an inspiration and had to try and get it down on paper… a thumbnail sketch if you like. It was a black brush marker drawing and I thought I would cover it in colour in a similar fashion to the Day 5 work.

When I woke up this morning, I felt differently. I saw it as the sketch for my next big painting. I saw where I could fix certain items with paint, such as the spaghetti arms (or so my previous painting mentor would call them). Also, the neck could be a little wider and less tubular.

Since this blog is mostly about the inspiration and creation process… I’m leaving this one as is and will link it to the painting… My working title will be “Contemplating Inspirations”.

ie: My creativity block project seems to have worked.
