See T’Hed Eight for previous progressions…

Where am I in this one? A dark mood emerging, resolute to move forward with this project… sounds good to me.

I used the slate grey paper with gouache on top… I blended the base colours with white to give them more depth and volume. I can’t decide if I feel the blending makes it creepy or more alive. The conundrum comes from the photo quality… it is much brighter in the finished image. Also, the paint was still damp when I took this photo.

I drew in the lines with black charcoal and then added the white, core, and yellow. I let the charcoal touch the paper lightly and frequently in most places to add the feeling of movement. I’m starting to feel it now… I’m just not yet sure how to paint it on canvas.

Stay tuned…
