Now we find ourselves diving into the Steampunk stylings I’m so fascinated by. I also realize this Tin Man has a little of the feel I get from the Samurai Jack robots: It must be the cowboy boots! Hmmm… my mind is wandering and went to wondering what inspired the Droid K-2SO in Rogue One (Star Wars)… Anyway, this guy is fun to me for the disproportionately elongated head and limbs in contrast with its compact torso… the casing where it’s entire raison-d’etre resides. What an interesting design choice… attention is drawn to the torso by its dimensions and we still get the melancholy of his desire to have a heart.
I’m not sure I’d want to do a linear distortion of this one. Maybe spiral him up a little.
