The wind blows all sorts of things around our backyard. I wonder if it’s something dropped by the industrious robins who build nests in our trees if it’s part of a previous year’s gardening efforts or part of the winterizing efforts I engage in every Fall. Whatever its origins, I wouldn’t have noticed it unless looking closer.
This macro-view tour around my house and neighbourhood has been very enjoyable. I plan to extend this circle and see what I can find. I originally was attracted to the ominous nothingness through the latticework… when I started my editing process I fell in love with the twine and how it played against the grain of the wood. The textures are rich and subtle. I’m going to have to try to take more like this at a higher resolution and see what the natural light can do.
