See T’Hed Thirty-Seven for more on this process…
There are occasional creative stumbles in the process and the only way past them are through them… I’m not sure where this one is meant to go and because I made it a while before writing about it, it’s meaning feels lost to me. I see my choice of light colour eyes and dark sky are reflecting some frustration… I do feel I got the right colour contrast, especially in how the dark sky allows all other colours to burst from the page.
The more I look at it, the more I’m enjoying parts of it. I concede that I’m bored of the forms and possibly struggled to let them go a little more than needed. The execution of this one feels childish and not in an intentional and free way… I’m determined to put more in the next one…
Stay tuned for more…
