The tail brings it all together… it moves and allows the calmness of the cow’s face as it looks across the field at us to come through. The colours are wonderfully complimentary and I would love to see the world in these exact t colours. The outlines on the cow both give it volume and anchor it on the page. This is one of my favourites so far. It’s just a purple cow, plain and simple.

It reminds me of an anecdote I heard about German kids – some of them think that cows are purple because they’ve seen them only on the covers of the Milka brand of chocolates 😂!
