Why does pink pop against green so extraordinarily well and yet these colours compliment each other beautifully… in my eye. I have to say that I don’t feel the. same of all green or pink hues, but. bright green against. light pink are my favourite combination… I use them together to make very satisfying skin tones… they just work for me. I added a little yellow-gold and dark pink tones to the light pink; I blended in a little dark forest green into the green… I feel this delivers the paint feel I enjoy from pastels. The orange ears work well against the green and pink as well; as does the tiny tough of red in the nose. The yellow-gold eyes add a strange feel to this expression… it feels a bit creepy to me.
Like “Obviously, cow” in the previous post, this is a child-like or naive rendering of COW. Even the squareness of the animal doesn’t detract for the essence of what it is.
How does this cow make you feel?
More to come…
Very pretty π The colours are lovely. I see what you mean about the eyes, perhaps it would help if you added some darker brown pupils. π
