I really enjoyed this course. At first, I had concerns that I wouldn’t follow because it was all done on Procreate, but this session is applicable to traditional methods & materials as well.

The beginning steps of how to gather and organize one’s inspirations were very helpful. I’ve been doing this unconsciously for years and haven’t found a clear way to teach it. Maia gave me the plan… the key (this is for my fellow teachers at Concordia) stop worrying about copying and understand that gathering inspiration is just that. As Maia so beautifully said it, you will be making your work unique in how you choose to render it.

I’ve watched my daughter draw things on Procreate and found it amazing how she managed all these layers. Again, this course shows clearly that the layering techniques used in Procreate are based on traditional painting techniques.

I’m deeply impressed by this course and yes, Maia, your hopes have come through, I did learn something… in fact, lots of somethings! Thank you!
